Stage 1 Correction 2-4hr

This is suited to paint work in good condition already that have no real visible swirls and only very minor marring – the Stage 1 or Single Stage Machine Polish involves refining the paintwork with a finishing polish and a finishing pad only and is generally not abrasive enough to remove swirl marks and scratches.

Stage 2 Correction 4hr+

This is suited to cars that have moderate swirl marks and light scratches. The first step is generally a cutting compound to remove imperfections such as swirl marks, light scratches, and other moderate paint defects. This is followed by a finishing polish to refine the paintwork even further by removing any marring or holograms left by the previous step.

AIO Service

An AIO service aims to remove some of the imperfections in the paint while also adding a layer of protection at the same time. Hence the name all-in-one.

Pricing

Pricing for a paint correction service varies from different situations and conditions of the paint. The prices are listed above are starting prices assuming the best workability. What we like to do is have an inspection of the paint condition and a discussion beforehand with the client to determine the expectations for the corrections.

Stage 1 paint correction can generally fix up to 50% of paint imperfections whereas stage 2 paint correction will fix 85%+ correctable defects.

Quotes vary for vehicle types, paint colors, and paint types. Some colors like black are harder to correct defects than colors like white or silver. Also, manufacturers use different paint hardness which could affect the workability of certain techniques. Lastly, the size of the work area will determine the quote as well being that a larger vehicle will take more time and product to complete the job.
